Good Questions.

How much does translation cost?

Our one-sentence English-to-German request was quoted at $0.025 (2.5¢) and returned a translation on 25 September 2026. This is an example price, not a fixed price for every translation. The price scales with text length; your agent checks the current quote before paying.

What do I give my agent?

Provide the text and target language. You can specify the source language or let DeepL detect it. Optional context helps explain the subject without becoming part of the translated text.

Can I translate several pieces of text together?

Yes. This route accepts an array of up to 50 text strings. Request a current quote for the complete batch.

Can I control formality or preserve HTML?

The route exposes formality settings and HTML or XML tag handling. Support depends on the language and input. Our example tested plain text with default settings.

Does this page cover document translation?

This route translates text supplied in the request. It does not upload a PDF, translate an audio recording or preserve an entire document layout.

Do I need a separate provider account?

No. Connect your agent to TaskFuel and use your TaskFuel balance to pay for the call. You do not need a separate provider API key or subscription for this route.

Was the example actually tested?

Yes. One internal TaskFuel call on 25 September 2026 returned the German text shown above. The four demo views describe that same call. Review translations before publishing, especially names, specialist terms and customer-facing copy.
