Good Questions.

How much does transcription cost?

The tested request was quoted at $0.053 (5.3¢) on 25 September 2026 and returned a transcript. This is the checked request price, not a per-minute rate. Your agent checks the current quote for your request.

What audio input does this route accept?

It takes a publicly accessible audio-file URL. A webpage containing a player is not necessarily a direct audio URL. This page does not provide a file-upload interface.

What comes back?

Our Nova-3 test returned transcript text, word-level start and end times, confidence fields and audio metadata. The displayed sentence is a short excerpt from Deepgram’s public sample recording.

Can it label different speakers?

The route exposes an optional diarization setting for speaker labels. Labels distinguish voices; they do not identify people. Speaker labeling was not part of our example test.

Can I transcribe a YouTube page or private meeting link?

This route expects an audio-file URL the provider can fetch. A YouTube page or a private meeting link is not the supported input shown here. Only provide audio you have permission to process and share.

Do I need a separate provider account?

No. Connect your agent to TaskFuel and use your TaskFuel balance to pay for the call. You do not need a separate provider API key or subscription for this route.

Does a transcript need review?

Yes. Names, numbers, accents and overlapping speech can be transcribed incorrectly. Check important passages against the recording. Our four demo views show one internal test, not four different recordings.
