Good Questions.

How much does webpage extraction cost?

A request for example.com was quoted at $0.0126 (1.26¢) and returned page content on 25 September 2026. Your agent checks the current quote before each paid request.

What does the extractor return?

This route returns the final URL after redirects, the page title and the page content in Markdown. Our example returned all three fields.

How is this different from URL metadata extraction?

URL metadata describes a link, such as its title or social preview. This route extracts the page’s readable content so your agent can work with the text itself.

Does it crawl a whole website?

No. This page covers the single-page scrape route. A separate request is needed for each URL; it does not automatically follow every link on the site.

Can it read pages that use JavaScript?

The provider describes a JavaScript-rendering fallback when a normal fetch fails or returns empty content. Our test used a simple public page, so it does not establish compatibility with every JavaScript site.

Can it access private pages or bypass a paywall?

Do not rely on this route for signed-in pages, private resources or paywall access. Use public pages you have permission to fetch. Some sites may block extraction or return incomplete content.

Do I need a separate provider account?

No. Connect your agent to TaskFuel and use your TaskFuel balance to pay for the call. You do not need a separate provider API key or subscription for this route.

Does it summarize the page or return custom structured fields?

This route returns Markdown content, a title and a URL. Your agent can use that response in a later summarization or extraction step. Those later steps are not included in the displayed call price.
