Let your agent be your designer

Your agent can already write your copy. It can also make the picture that goes with it, from the same balance, without you opening an account with anyone.

Here is one brief, an app icon for a habit tracker, given to four different models, with what each one charged:

A flat two-colour illustration of one simple leaf on a solid warm background, in a perfectly square 1:1 format. The leaf is centred and upright, taking up about two thirds of the square with an even margin on all four sides. The background colour reaches all four edges: no white margin, no border, no rounded corners, no tile shape, no shadow, no text.

Four answers to the same brief

The brief never said which leaf, or which orange. So each model picked, and you get four takes instead of one answer.

Any of them would do the job. Picking between them is a matter of taste, which is exactly the position you want to be in, and getting there costs twenty-four cents and takes about a minute.

That is what nine models on one balance buys you. Not a cheaper subscription, a wider bench. Nobody can tell you in advance which one reads your brief the way you meant it, so ask a few and pick the one you like.

Now argue with it

The first answer is a starting point. The good part is what happens when you push back.

Same leaf, same position, dark mode, five cents. Ask again and you get a monochrome one for the favicon. Ask again and it is on a press kit background. Each round is a sentence and a few cents, and you are never starting over.

That loop is the whole thing. Not one perfect image from one perfect prompt, but a fast argument with something that never gets tired of your notes.

Take icon.png and recolour it for dark mode: deep navy background, pale mint leaf, same shape and same centring, filling the whole square. Show me both versions side by side.

And the boring jobs too

Your logo only exists as a PNG and the printer wants vector. Fifteen cents.

Identical to look at. One of them can go on the side of a building.

And yes, memes

Nobody asked for the whiteboard. It came up with that on its own.

Seven images. Fifty cents. One balance.

Add up the price tags: four icons for the comparison, the dark mode version, the meme and the vector logo come to fifty cents between them. The illustration at the top was another thirteen. That is the bill for the whole page, not the price of one picture, and there is no account, no subscription and nothing to cancel.
