No. This page covers two Semrush data operations through TaskFuel. Semrush runs its own MCP server at https://mcp.semrush.com/v2/mcp with its own account and subscription requirements.

Do I need a Semrush account for TaskFuel’s operations?

No. You sign in to TaskFuel and pay from your TaskFuel balance. You don’t need a Semrush account or API key.

What does a request cost?

Each keyword or domain overview request cost $0.00495 in our 5 November 2026 test.

Can I use my existing Semrush project data?

Use Semrush’s official MCP for read-only access to your project data and broader reports under your subscription. TaskFuel’s two operations take a keyword or domain and don’t connect your Semrush projects.

What data will come back?

A keyword request returned difficulty, cost per click, monthly searches, search intent and related keywords with their volumes. A domain request returned authority score, backlinks, referring domains, organic keywords and traffic, and top keywords. Some fields can be empty when Semrush has no data.
