Request a short Sora 2 clip through StableStudio. Check the existing job until it finishes, then retrieve the video.

## What it can do

### Generate a video from text

Describe a shot for Sora 2. Choose 4, 8 or 12 seconds and landscape or portrait at 720p. The provider returns a job to poll.

Price: Priced per request.

### Supply a reference image

Optionally include an image URL with your prompt. The provider supports cropping the reference to the requested aspect ratio.

Price: Priced per request.

### Check a generation job

Poll the returned job URL until it completes or fails. Starting another generation is a separate paid request.

Price: Free in the test run.

### 2. Run the request

Review amount_usd in the quote. To pay and run, change dryRun to false and add maxAmountUsd with that approved amount inside the same JSON object. Keep the inputs unchanged; this limit applies to one call.

### 3. Read the result

The first response contains a pending job and pollUrl. Send that URL through TaskFuel’s /v1/call with method GET and no body. Check until complete or failed, then read result.videoUrl. Polls were free in this test; confirm the current price. Do not resubmit a pending generation.

## Questions

### How does video generation work?

Your agent submits a prompt to StableStudio and receives a job ID and polling URL. It checks that job until the provider reports completion or failure. Submission alone does not mean the video is ready.

### What does a video cost?

Our four-second Sora 2 video at 1280 × 720 cost $0.40 on 22 September 2026. Duration and settings change the price. Your agent shows the price for your own request before it pays.

### Which formats can I request?

The checked Sora 2 endpoint accepts 4, 8 or 12 seconds, at 1280 × 720 landscape or 720 × 1280 portrait. It also accepts an optional reference image URL.

### Do I need a separate video subscription?

No. Your agent pays from your TaskFuel balance, so there is nothing else to sign up for.

### What if a video job is still pending?

Ask your agent to check the existing job URL. Submitting the same prompt again starts another paid generation. An accepted job can still fail later; keep the charge and final job status separate.

### Can I publish the generated clip?

Check the provider terms and review the clip for your intended use. TaskFuel does not grant rights to reference images or third-party material in an output.

### How do I let my agent make videos?

Sign in to TaskFuel, copy the connection prompt into your agent and approve it. Then describe the clip you want; the price appears before it runs.
