## Connect your agent

Read the [Codex setup guide](https://taskfuel.ai/docs/setup-cli/).

Use one TaskFuel account and prepaid balance. Inspect the provider and request quote before a paid call, then review the returned response and recorded charge.

## When to use it

### Write it against the real API.

Codex can call the live search while it writes the code that parses it, so the shape of the response is never a guess.

### Find out if the idea works.

Test a travel feature with Munition flight offers at 5¢ a search before committing to a separate data agreement.

### Data a task can fetch itself.

A task running on its own cannot stop to ask you for credentials. The prepaid balance caps what the run can spend.

## Questions

### Can Codex search flights?

Connect TaskFuel and Codex can search Munition flight offers at 5¢ a call. StableTravel adds flight tracking and cached award availability.

### Do I need an airline or FlightAware account?

No. One TaskFuel account and one prepaid balance covers it. TaskFuel pays the provider and bills your balance.

### What does a search cost?

Munition fare search is 5¢. StableTravel flight status and airport boards are 1¢, cached award search is 2¢, and live flight search is 10¢.

### What else is behind it?

Flight status by designator, airport arrival and departure boards, position history and filed routes, and cached award seats by cabin and carrier.

### What if a lookup fails?

Upstream 4xx and 5xx responses are not charged. A successful provider response can still be charged when its answer is empty or unhelpful.
